Kanoo Real Estate & Bapco Tazweed have signed an agreement to manage Sitra Service Station, located on Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Subah Highway. The signing ceremony was held at Kanoo Tower in the Diplomatic Area, in the presence of Mr. Talal Fawzi Kanoo, Chairman of Kanoo Real Estate, and Mr. Essa Najibi, Chairman of Bapco Tazweed, in the presence of a number of officials from both entities.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Talal Fawzi Kanoo, Chairman of Kanoo Real Estate (KRE), stated: Sitra Service Station (SSS) comes within a series of development projects initiated by KRE, with the aim of providing notable developments of high quality and addressing the growing demands of the local real estate market. Our recent partnership with Bapco Tazweed will enable Sitra Service Station (SSS) to adhere to global fuelling safety and operational standards and to further expand the Bapco Tazweed network with an additional location on one of Bahrain’s most vital and strategic highways.
On his part, Eng. Essa Mohamed Najibi, Chairman of Bapco Tazweed, expressed his delight that Sitra Service Station (SSS) joined the group of fuelling stations managed by the company as part of the expansion plan witnessed by the company in this field.
Eng. Najibi also emphasised that Bapco Tazweed continues to strengthen its strategy to provide the best services and upgrade the level of stations, and this agreement is one of the positive outcomes of the company’s successes and confirms the joint cooperation between the company and the private sector.
Also commenting on the occasion, Eng. Khalid Al-Tayyar, General Manager of Bapco Tazweed, explained that Sitra Service Station is the fifth station that is included operated and managed by in the Bapco Tazweed network from the private sector, which serves as a testament to the long and distinguished experience as well as the qualified technical and human capital that the company possesses in this field.
Eng. Khalid also stressed that the company will strive to ensure that it provides the highest levels of service, quality and the highest specifications of health safety and security protocols, following the aspirations of customers and visitors to the station, citizens and residents alike.
Adding a comment on the occasion, Mr. Mohamed Abdulelah Al-Kooheji, CEO of Kanoo Real Estate said: Sitra Service Station is one of Kanoo Real Estate’s latest developments that comprises of an area of 25,000 square meters, marking it one of the biggest holistic service stations in the Kingdom, and added that the station includes 10 fuel pumps, a supermarket, fast food restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores, car care and details services, as well as a retail strip of 8 drive-thrus to serve the growing demand from the industrial, commercial and residential visitors alike. This comes In line with its strategic plan to expand its diverse real estate development portfolio in the region.
