Under the sponsorship of Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, Abdulrahman Kanoo Parents Care Club held a ceremony on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons to honor the distinguished members of the club, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, Governor of the Northern Governorate, Mr. Talal Fawzi Kanoo, Chairman of Kanoo Real Estate, and a large number of invitees. The event was held at Fatima Al Shakar Hall in Hamad Town, as part of the group’s policy to fulfill its social responsibilities and support the Bahraini society.
Mr. Talal Kanoo stressed that this ceremony comes as part of the Group’s commitment to its social responsibility and its keenness to shed the light on the elders that need the support of the community ensuring that they feel included.
The club’s chairman and members expressed their gratitude to the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group for their support of the club’s programs and activities and for the many charitable works provided by the group as part of its participation in community partnership in the Kingdom. The ceremony included poetry recitals, heritage performances, and honoring of distinguished members of the club, and souvenirs were distributed.
